James Bond or 007 is a fictional character created in 1953 by writer Ian Fleming.

From 1953 to 1964, Ian Fleming wrote twelve novels and nine short stories on the James Bond missions. After Fleming's death, the adventures of Bond were successively written by several other authors.

The Spy in Her Majesty's Service will be adapted for the big screen and played by various actors, Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Graig.

With more than 20 films, James Bond is to date the longest film saga in the history of cinema.
