Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo is the third in a series made by Walt Disney Productions featuring the Volkswagen Beetle Herbie. Herbie and his driver Jim Douglas, and copilot Wheely Applegate are on an exciting adventure, racing the fictional Trans-France race from Paris to Monte Carlo. When Herbie isnt falling in love, hes averting the thieves who hid stolen jewels inside his gas cap. Herbie is a 1963 Volkswagen Beetle Model 117 Deluxe Sunroof sedan, painted in the L87 pearl white color with added racing stripes, highback seats, foglight, and a roll bar.
