When they accept the robes associated with their office, they solemnly swear to serve as irremovable sentinels, a living rampart encircled by auramite that no enemy can cross. Each Warden swears a personal oath, which they draw up themselves after a whole year of contemplative meditation on the edge of a vertiginous precipice in the Potentate Tower. Breaking their vow would be worse than death for such warriors, and their determination to keep it strengthens their already formidable will to a frightening degree.

This plastic kit contains the components needed to assemble a squad of 5 Custodian Wardens. They're instantly recognisable by their ceremonial robes and auramite armour, which makes them look splendid - as always with Adeptus Custodes, covered in sculpted symbols of the Emperor, with imperial eagles, lightning bolts, gems and filigree galore. Each can be armed with either a guardian spear or a castellan axe, with 5 of each included in the kit. The kit's helmets, plumes and leggings are interchangeable, so you can configure your Wardens as you wish.

As an option, the kit allows you to assemble a Shield-Captain, who has 2 bare heads, a unique breastplate and shoulder pads, and his own ceremonial dress - he is armed with a choice of a Warden's spear or a Castellan axe, plus a mericordia. In addition, one of the miniatures can be assembled as a Vexilus Praetor - in addition to the standard choice of weaponry, he wields a splendid, ornate Vexilla.

The kit comes with 78 components, plus 5 Citadel 40mm round bases.
