Considered a timeless classic, Jaws is a 1975 American thriller directed by Steven Spielberg. Based on Peter Benchley's 1974 novel, Jaws is widely regarded as one of cinema's greatest achievements.

Universal Studio's Jaws ride opened in 1990 in Orlando, Florida. With an installation budget of $45 million, the ride quickly became a well-known park attraction, and another installation was later opened at Universal Studios Japan in 2001.

The Orlando Hanging Shark, an unparalleled photo-op, became a tribute to the history of the great film.

Elite Creature Collectibles produced our museum-quality hanging shark model, with detailed, state-of-the-art sculpting and painting applications. The sculpture was modeled by Bitan, Mavis, and painted by Oskar Ankarudd.
